This course introduces the concept of a bridge convention -- a bid which has special meaning to a partnership that helps you reach the best contract on a hand. Included will be bidding with very strong hands, bidding to slams, and finding the right contract after a notrump opening bid.
Four of the most popular bidding conventions will be introduced and practiced during this course: Stayman, Jacoby Transfer Bids, Strong two-club openings, and the Blackwood convention.
